Giorgos Doganis

a wychowywał się w małym mieście Kalamata na północnym Peloponezie. Studiował na Wydziale Elektryki i Inżynierii Komputerowej na University of Patras. Studiował Fotografię Dokumentalną na Wydziale Fotograficznym Academy of Performing Arts w Pradze.

Jego głownym tematem jest człowiek i jego interakcja ze środowiskiem, skupia się na współczesnym życiu, pracy, imigracji i mniejszościach, ale także alternatywnych społecznościach, ekologii i ochronie środowiska. He is a freelance photographer based in Athens, Greece. He was born in Athens in 1983 and raised in Kalamata, a small city in southern Peloponnese. He studies at the Electrical & Computer Engineering department of the University of Patras. He studied Documentary Photography at the Department of Photography of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU), Prague.

His main theme is man and his interaction with his environment, with focus on contemporary life, labor, immigration and minorities but also alternative communities, ecology and environmental sustainability. Continuously discovering countless coexistent realities is his constant motive, surprise and most precious reward.

His work has been published in electronic media, magazines and the press, foreign and domestic. He has collaboration with the Multicultural Center of Prague (MKC) and several other organizations and NGOs. His criminal record (still) is blank.

Ma 37 lat i fotografuje od 2005 roku.

Społeczne zagadnienia i ludzkie warunki, które go otaczają, są jego głównymi tematami, szukaniem i odkrywaniem, co kryje się za zasłoną codziennego życia przez odkrywanie warunków, które są odpowiedzialne z znaczący sposób na zmiany i rozwój globalnej społeczności. He is a freelance photographer based in Berlin, Germany.

He is currently working in Athens, Greece as a staff photographer for „Epsilon” magazine that is devoted to social and political issues.

Social issues and the human conditions that surround them are his main concern, a quest set to reveal what exists under the veil of everyday life by discovering the conditions that are responsible for the significant changes and progress of the global community. Also, an emphasis is given to people and their dependence on their environment, as well as the problems that both humans and the environment face as a result of the contemporary inhuman mechanisms that the various governments and states develop and use.

His work has been published in numerous magazines, newspapers and special editions across Europe, and he has launched a book titled „Varanasi”. He has participated in various group exhibitions in Germany and Greece and part of his work is represented by You-and-Art gallery in Zurich.
